So a new year begins. But feels kinda the same as any other year to me. Sent the usual well wishing messages at midnight and promptly went to sleep after that. So much about merry christmas and a happy new year..
Well, things are moving along as usual. Gearing up to shed my laziness and get my butt moving. Since this is my first actual blog, i shall move back in time and do a recap.
First up, an updated LIST OF THINGS I LEARNT!
list of things i learn the hard way:
1) never underestimate the power of a hundred chicken nuggets
2) keep my hands gripped shut when milling around during mango sales.
3) look carefully at the set lunch number before ordering.
4) always look out for signs of brain infections [sore throat, high fever, stiff neck etc. etc.]
5) do not get chased around by a girl trying to whack me with a book.
6) train for NAFA well ahead of time
7) do not ever, ever volunteer to be the first aid rep
8) try not to five star frog smash into a hostel bed unless you want it to break
9) shitting 3 times a day is considered normal by some
10) manly girls are well.....very manly
11) try not to get pinched
12) it's time to study!!
hmm, let's start with today. was having tuition today when Jason ordered 100pieces of nuggets. WTF! Do you have any idea how many chickens worth of meat was there on the table?? In the end, the guys had to chuck 15-20 pieces of nuggets each. So many of the J2's left the tuition centre, but on the other hand, there are some new faces.. But too bad la, no chio bu.
thursday i went out with jy for swensens. she had a paper before that, so it was really lucky of me to sms her at the right time. So we met at ps and went to swensens for lunch. The apple crumble was heavenly sia, cold ice cream with the crumble kept piping hot by the iron pan. We were having a polysaccharide-induced high. Nothing feels better than to be chatting with a close friend watching the rain through the window..
birthday was great, didn't expect my friends to remember my birthday, really feel blessed and warm to see all the smses. thanks guys! really appreciate it. grin* too bad i missed the OG bithday celebration, couldn't see all the people that went to other jcs..
christmas gathering with odac peeps were great. a great deal of food and a bit of booze. thank goodness i didn't get pushed into the pool, forgot to bring extra clothes. so we had a gift exchange, i bought jasmine a big cookie monster [ charles] and got a pair of ripcurl slips from dee. Then i realise it was the same design as the ones i am wearing! But i loved it anyway, thanks dee..
plenty else happened during the hols. but it will have to wait till next time. nights.
